I use AVG firewall and the necessary service - Windows 7 Media Player Network Sharing Service (wmpnetwk.exe) has "Allow full access" permissions so nothing is being blocked. Windows Firewall gets automatically configured when you set up streaming media, third party firewalls may need configuring manually. Can't say I'm bowled over by their support setup, no response to an email in 48 hours does not instil me with confidence, but I could just be being picky.Īnyway - they say they have had the same problem with all of their streaming radios when users have third party firewalls installed on their PC, apparently they had major problems with McAfee.
